Celebrating The Big Life of Michael Heaton

 —  —

Two Brothers Roundhouse, 205 N Broadway, Aurora, IL

Mike was a talented singer-songwriter, and just one of the nicest humans you could ever meet. He was taken far too soon, at only 53, by cancer. I have the honor of joining his bandmates to sing a few of his tunes at this celebration of his life. Event starts at 7, music begins at 9. A $10 suggested donation at the door will go to help 3 year old Wrenley Pavels in her fight against idiopathic aplastic anemia, a rare blood disorder. Do your soul some good and join us!

The Stars That Hang Above - record release show

The Venue, 21 S. Broadway Ave, Aurora, IL

GET YOUR TICKETS HERE! At long last, my new album, The Stars That Hang Above, is done! Official release date is 11-15-2019. Join us a few days later at The Venue in Aurora, IL. The Venue is a cool new spot opened up by the Fox Valley Music Foundation. Great sound and nightlines, and yes, they serve adult beverages (if you are so inclined). We will have vinyl and CDs of the new album available for sale at the show. I'll be performing with my band, Chris Walke (lead guitar), Justin O'Connell (drums), and Adam Gardner (bass). We're really excited to play the new album (and some of your old favorites) for you. Our good friend Dave Ramont will be opening the show for us.

$12 reserved/$8 general admission ($15/10 at the door)

Another Nashville style Writer's Round brought to you by the fine folks at Gigable. Join us, you should.

Uncommon Ground
A great place to hear some live music and have some excellent food.
An intimate music room with great sound that plays host to many of your favorite artists. They've also got a top notch bar and if you need something to soak up all that liquor, you can get some dynamite food at their Harmony Grill.
The Old Town School Of Folk Music
In addition to the great school, where they can teach you almost any instrument, The OTSoFM is an excellent place to see live music. Fantastic acoustics and clear sight-lines in their theater.
