On the dark and brooding opening track of his new album, Dave Sills asks, “How much is enough, when you’ve taken all of mine as yours?" The answer comes back to him, “MORE,” which provides the title of both the song and the album it kicks off. The album's Wilbury-ish first single, “What Happens Next,” rolls in next. “A hopeful song for uncertain times,” says Sills. There’s 10 “more” after that, ranging from atmospheric ballads (“Anyone Who Isn’t You”) to all out rockers (“Okay In Waves”). Stylistically and musically, Sills and his band (Chris Walke - guitars, Adam Gardner - bass, keys, and Justin O’Connell - drums) push the songs into areas they haven’t previously explored. Is it for YOU? “Of course I think so,” says Sills, "but give it a listen and hopefully you’ll come back… for MORE.” (Dave makes no apologies for this totally obvious tag.)

Melodies that stick in your head. Lyrics that aren't meaningless drivel. Ache and angst without being whiny.

PERFORMING SONGWRITER magazine selected WAITING ROOM as one of their Top 12 DIY Albums for their July/August 2006 issue.

SHURE MICROPHONES have picked Dave to be one of the featured artists in the November 06 issue of "Shure Notes".

WAITING ROOM features "All Messed Up" as heard on Chicago's WXRT and "Habit" as heard on Springfield's WUIS.

"Dave Sills is a songwriter who continues to get better at his craft. Along with the songs, it’s nice to hear the obvious confidence Dave brings to his disc. Faith in one’s own work in conjunction with actual talent - that’s what the successful people in this business have." - Richard Milne, WXRT (www.93xrt.com)

"This 'Room' from Chicago-based Sills is full of edgy rock sketches on the downtrodden side. With a sound at times conjuring both early del Amitri and Ryan Adams, gentle shuffle "Where You Are" and uptempo "Bring The Sun" are standout tracks." - Guy-Michael Grande, Ear Candy (www.myspace.com/earcandyartists)

THIS ALBUM IS ALSO AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD FROM APPLE'S ITUNES MUSIC STORE AND OTHER FINE DOWNLOAD SERVICES.

"Quite impressive." - Peter Himmelman, recording artist "Really nice songs on here." - Richard Milne, WXRT 93.1 FM "Refreshingly low-key... [with an] endearing wit that sets Sills apart from other singer-songwriters and has won him a legion of fans." - Old Town School of Folk Music "Simply put, Dave Sills is a great artist and 'Sometimes Nothing' is a great record. This is a record that after numerous spins, continues to inspire me and console me and resonate in my soul." - Dawn Maze, Trampoline Records
